Well start of the 2nd half of the season and what a game to start with 1st v 2nd.the confidence was high as we approached this game we fancied the win and were going to get it,this is how it went.

1st-Tommy Martin v Martyn Black.On paper a tough game Martyn a descent player,Tommy is off well hitting 100,81,180,and Martyn is left behind another 6 from Tommy sets up the double as Martyn still cant find it bang Tommy's out in 18 good start,Tommy again is off well 81,81,100, Martyn still cant find it,Tommy keeps them steady as Martyn starts to find the treble 32 for Tommy but no 16 left Martyn hits 132 to leave 60 but Tommy nails the leg and is 2 up.To say the wheels fell off would be a understatement as Tommy goes from hitting everything to hitting nothing Martyn keeps steady and in the end a bad leg from both sees Martyn pull one back,Martyn is away the better off the two as Tommy trays to fix the puncture,after 12 darts there's nothing in it as both plod along then Tommy puncture fixed finds it 95, 83,140 to leave 68 and nails it in 3 and Chorley are 1 up.Chorley 1 Fleetwood 0

Game 2-Gareth Booth v Dale Newton.Another tough game but can Gareth fetch Thursday form to today's game,Dale is away with solid darts and Gareth hits a 140 and 95 for a 60 point lead Gareth sets up 46 as Dale sets up 40 Gareth started the leg so first at it but he fails and Dale nails tops,both off ok in the next after 12 there's nothing in it both finding two tons each,but Dale takes advantage off the start and edges in front Gareth sets up 60 but in vain as Dale hits double 10,Dales away the better in the 3rd hitting two tons and a 85 in his first 12 darts as Gareth struggles,Dale wants 87 after 18 as Gareth is way back on 200,Dale misses 9 darts as Gareth gets back in the game and sets up 20 Dale still cant find it but Gareth fails as well and Dale closes the game out.Chorley 1 Fleeetwood 1

Game 3-Stan Hoskinson v Jordan Brooke.Again another good game to look forward to,Stan is away steady eddie with 78.83,60,60, Jordan is a bit behind but fins a 139 to level the game after 12,Stan want 114 and just wires the tops for a good finish as Jordan hits 36 for the lead,Stan's away well again with 85,100,Jordan follows him Stan takes control again but Jordan finds a ton and it all level again after 15 a ton front Stan sets 90 and Jordan wants 110 bang in 3 from Stan and its level,Stan finds the mark 83,100,100,135,all Jordan can find in reply is two 90+s and Stan is bossing the leg and wins it in 18 darts and takes the lead,Jordan hits back with 134,82,88,60 Stan finds a ton and 81 in reply and finds himself behind,Jordan sets up tops after 18 and the big man needs a big throw here for any chance and he does 140 to leave 84,Jordan misses treble 20 from Stan wires 24 inside and leaves 12 that's got to be that, but pressure sees Jordan miss as the big man closes the game out .Chorley 2 Fleetwood 1

Game 4-Steve Coote v John Shaw.Come on Steve is the cry,Steve is steady away and scoring steady but no treble as John finds the mark with 3 tons,Steve is stil steady away as John misses the double Steve sets up 60 again John misses and Steve a leg that he should have lost nails the double for the lead,Steve finds a mark and hits 95,60,59,99,140,for 48 John is well behind Steve splits the 32 as John finds a 83 and 95 to leave a double but its all to no avail as Steve nails the double 8.Steve again is away well with 100,60,99,60,140 John is doing his best to keep up Steve misses the double and John finds a 121 for a glimmer but Steve wants 8 but no he cant find it,but John falls at the last hurdle and Steve finishes him off.Chorley 3 Fleetwood 1

Game 5-Con Nagi v Paul Dagger.Another good game on the cards here,Con is away slow but Paul punishes him with 98,136,100,60 and Con is a mile behind Paul leaves 40 and dually takes it out for a excellent 17 dart leg,again Con is struggling to find it as Paul carries on from the 1st with 60,140,45,140,Con again is well behind Paul has a shot for a 18 dart leg but misses but put Con away with the next three,same story again for Con its just not happening for him as Paul marches on 60,121,26,60,100 and a 94 for tops and yes Con again miles behind and Paul puts him out of his misery.Chorley 3 Fleetwood 2

Half time as i think it over and look at what has gone before i think we deserve our lead at half time but plenty more work to be done.

Game 6-Paul Derbyshire v Adam Blyth.Adam has only lost 1 all season so i know ive my work cut out but im up for it.Im off well with 83,81,60,100 but Adam is on my tail and a 121 from him fetches it level i find a 113 to leave tops as Adam just falters a little, i wire tops wire 20 and split 20,Adam hits 97 for 74 but im still in the box seat but i cant hit it as Adam takes the 74 in three B1ASTARD i kick my self,Adam is off with 41 come on i say and i hit 30, Adam again 41 chance again and i take it 140,85,140,and im in the chair again as Adam hits is steady eddie but imess up 106 and leave 71 as Adam pressures me hitting a 99 for tops but i ain't missing this 13,18, and tops and im level,i get off with a 121 but Adam finds his mark with 85,100,60,95,97 im battling and a ton gives me a glimmer but no not to be as Adam again wins on my throw in 18,both are steady away in the 4th leg both find a ton and steady 80+s in first 18 darts i want 115 he wants 79 he leaves 32 and i need this 115 single 20 treble 19 and bang on the wire that's that i think but no Adam misses and i nail the 38 in 1 and again i win on his throw,big last leg needed i go with 100.60,83,60,86,leaving 112 Adam hits steady eddie and wants 121 but its me to go and i mess it up hitting 22 leaving 90 as Adam sets up tops,biggest 90 of my life required first darts sails in to the middle of treble 18 second dart goes its in all the way im ready for the cheers ping and its back at my feet right off the wire third on and i wire it and i mean wire it B1ASTARD,Adam steps up miss miss and gets it with the last great game.Chorley 3 Fleetwood 3

Game 7-Ellis Norris v Lee Shewan.Yet again another good game on paper,Ellis is off slow and Lee punishes him with 100,41,140,60,140,leaving 20 Ellis finds a 135 and 99 but hes still a bit behind and Lee finish off a good leg,Ellis is off better with four 80+s score in his first 15 darts but Lee again is on the mark 85,140,41,85,96,Ellis sets up 66 and Lee 54 Ellis messes it up and Lee takes no prisoners and takes a two leg lead,Ellis is away slow in the third but again Lee hits Ellis hard with a 60, 180,85,and has command of the leg Ellis try but its to no avail as Lee keeps steady and takes Ellis out in 19,19,20 darts well played.Chorley 3 Fleetwood 4

Game 8- Shaun Liptrot v Wes Newton.Wes the world number 7 so Shaun is right up against it but in practise Shaun hitting everything,Shaun is away to the worst start he could have wanted as Wes hits 180,137,64,100 leaving 20 Shaun still not finding it as Wes finishes in 14,Shaun again off to a bad start as Wes again hits 81,140,123,Shaun finds the mark and hits back with a 140 but is it to late Wes misses and Shaun hits 60 Wes misses again Shaun hits 99 there's light at the end of the tunnel W es misses again unlucky hahaha,Shaun hits the double,again Shaun just cant get going as Wes hits 100,41,140,123,Shaun hits back as he finds the mark but again is it to late 140 100, leaves him 114 but Wes wants 40,Shaun has a go at the 114 and just fails leaving 20,and Wes nails the double for a 18 dart leg,again Shaun just cant find them opening darts as W es sets off 60,96,58,99,again late in the game Shaun finds 100,85 but Wes hits a 135 to leave 53,Shaun cant find a score to leave him a shot and Wes finishes it off.Chorley 3 Fleetwood 5

Game 9- Andy Whitaker v Carl Miles.Well we need this or we have blown it,both players are away steady and there's nothing in the game as they trade throw for throw,after 18 Andy wants 124 and Carl 123 a 91 from Carl sets up 32 and Andy hits back with 94 for 30 but Carl was off and has first clod and takes it out,Andy finds the mark with 85,140,60,60,100 and Carl is miles behind Andy finish it off in 19 and levels the game,Andy is away well 100,85,100 but Carl is away well also with 100,140,60,Carl sets up tops but Andy nails 64 in three for a great 18 dart leg and a 2.1 lead,both are steady away in the 4th both look nervous and after 15 darts there's nothing in it Andy finds a 140 and leaves 96 Carl want 135 Andy has a dart at tops but misses as Carl sets up tops with a 95 Andy has first clod this time but no misses and Carl levels the game oh no i cant take this much longer,Carl has advantage as he is first to go and hits 81,140 with Andy hitting 58,60 ,we could be in trouble here a 60,81 from Carl leaves 139 and Andy finds the mark with 100,100,leaving 183,a 99 from Carl puts him on tops and i fear the worse Andy hits 85 to leave 98 Carl splits it and leaves 20 Andy wants 98 hits the treble wants 38 wires it then splits it that's that i think but Carl feels the pressure and splits it again 19 required get in there 3 double 8 we will have that.Chorley 4 Fleetwood 5

Game 10-Bernard Cross v Steven Hadgraft.Well what pressure must be on Bernard bets his bottom is twitching like a good un,both players are feeling the pressure as both set off slow a 96 from Steven gives him a slight edge,then Bernard finds it and hits a 121 to leave 122,Bernard goes and just wires the double for the lead both are nervous as both cant close out the game and both miss darts for the win and after 12 darts for both at double Bernard finishes the leg and takes the lead,Bernard a bit steadier away this leg but Steven find a couple of trebles and has the advantage Steven leaves 90 and looks like he will take the leg but again Bernard finds it late hitting a ton to leave 83,Steven is feeling the pressure and cant finish Bernard off as Bernard steps up and nails the 83 in three for a leg it looked like he was going to lose,the 3rd leg is a poor leg from both as the tension kicks in and both feeling the pressure,a ton and 81 gives Steven advantage but he failed to take it last leg he sets up tops as Bernard trys but struggles a 60 leaves him 80 but no messing from Steven this time and pulls one back,Bernard away well in the 4th 100,140,140,and its looking all over as Bernard set up the finish and Steven plods on with scores of 80+,but Bernard has 12 darts for the win but fails to find it and Stevens 80+ scoring gets him back in the leg he misses 3 at the double but wins the leg as the nerves set in,all on the last leg draw or loss what a massive leg this is,Bernard to go 15 the groans are heard at the top of Collingwood road but Steven fails to take advantage with 59,then Bernard comes alive 85,100,121,100,leaving 80Steven is struggling but finds a 140 but hes still well behind Bernard has a dart at 32 for the draw no its missed 16 required Steven struggles again the roar is deafening as Bernard steps up and bang it there and the draw is secured.Chorley 5 Fleetwood 5

What a match and what a good day to be fair i think 5.5 was a fair result we went 3.1 up then 5.3 and 5.5 great come back and what pressure on the last two well done all
